Once fluffed it appears more like a squat cylinder, it's not a round ball. It's got some kind of foam inside, not beans as in the product name (Cozy Sac Bean Bag Chair), so it's not like the chairs from your youth but it is comfy and probably keeps better shape with the foam. It's quite heavy but it's easy to roll from place to place. The feel of the fabric is nice (suede like) and I would call the color mushroom, very neutral. A light color is best so it doesn't dominate your room.
